This is a great goat halter! I got a size large for my large alpine goat, and it fit him good, but it definitely wouldn't fit a goat any bigger. It was a little stiff at first but once it got worn in it was ok. I tried the rope slip holters but they did not fit well and he did not seem to like them, this was much better. I wanted something comfortable and secure to walk him in a parade. This definitely worked great and the colors were beautiful. But keep in mind it's not a breakaway halter, and I don't feel that it's safe to leave it on all the time, but that is okay because that's not what I need it for.
Unfortunately it was too big for my goats but it seems like a nice made halter
Returned do to size
I bought this for my new lamb. I wanted to start halter training as soon as possible. She is 12 weeks old and is very shy. Unfortunately, this is small is a little too large. We will improvise until she gets a little larger.
I love the color and the quality is great.
We purchased the small size Tahoe Tack Nylon Overlay Sheep and Goat Halter with Padded Noseband. We've had this harness on our 4 year old Dorper ewe for a couple of months now. We had to poke a couple of extra holes in it to make it small enough to stay on her, but a hot ice pick made quick work out of it. We definitely will buy another when the small size becomes available again.
