These jackets keep your dog dry, but naturally cooled using the power of evaporation, for up to 10 or more hours! These jackets are a perfect choice for those who want to take their dog on long walks or hikes, participate in dog sports, or simply keep their dog cool and safe from harmful UV rays. These coats were designed to help prevent potentially fatal heat stroke in dogs, and instead, keep your pup comfortable and happy in hot weather. These coats were designed to fit almost every size and breed of dog and are highly versatile. This dog coat has a special opening feature that makes it compatible with harnesses and leashes.
Before the first use, please submerge the product under water, wring out the excess water and let the product dry completely. This is necessary for the cooling fibers to set into the product. Please note, the product could feel 'soapy' because of the polyester fiber migration after the first activation. This rinses away on the next soaking.

Step 1: Submerge in Cold WaterSubmerge the Hydro Cooling Jacket in cold water until the entire blanket is sufficiently wet. If you use colder water the jacket will cool your dog for a longer period of time. On days that are cooler, you can use room temperature water for a more mild cooling effect. We do not recommend using warm water as this could overheat your dog. |
Step 2: Remove Excess WaterAfter submerging/soaking the Hydro Cooling Jacket, be sure to wring all of the excess water off. The jacket should only feel damp and not soaking wet to the touch and should not be wet enough to drip. Once the excess water is wrung out, the jacket is ready to be placed on your dog for up to 10 hours. |
Step 3: Keep Your Dog Cool for up to 10 HoursOnce your Hydro Cooling Jacket is prepped, all you have to do is place the jacket on your dog and your dog will be ready to have fun in the sun while staying cool and comfortable! All you have to do is periodically check and make sure the jacket is still cool, and re-wet it if need be. |

Water Does Not Soak ThroughWhen water is poured onto the outer layer of the jacket it will soak into that layer to provide a cooling effect, but not through to the inner layer, keeping your dog dry. You can even pour water on the coat while it is on your dog and they'll stay comfortable and dry. |
Can be Refreshed While on Your DogEven if your dog is already wearing our Hydro Cooling Jacket, you can still pour fresh water onto the jacket to re-activate the cooling effect without getting your dog's fur wet. This means you can make sure the jacket is wet and working without having to take it off. |
