Our four-sided hay bags are the only bags on the market that allow your horse to freely eat from any part of the hay bag. Our bags are constructed of reinforced nylon webbing that is stronger and more durable than any mesh or fabric hay bag. These bags are designed with cross stitches at every intersection and bartack stitching at all stress points along the top, sides, and bottom of the bag. Very well made. Will hold enough hay for a day feeding one horse. I'm not sure that the velcro on the opening is necessary and I wonder how it will perform over time because velcro tends to pick up lint, etc. But I am happy that my insulin resistant mare can slowly eat all day and not waste hay.
Perfect size, easy enough for the horses to use, and so convenient! So far no issues with durability and they’ve been used consistently since we got them.
Bags are perfect to load and unload hay into the steamer. Bought three to keep steamed hay ready for the horses.
I’ve been looking for a ground slow-feeder hay net for a while, but wasn’t keen on the solid bottom designs of the other ones I was seeing. With this design, there’s no blind spots for the horses that would make it frustrating to finish the hay, the holes are an ideal slow feeder size, and the construction is super tough. We peel from round bales, so the large capacity is great. The opening is reasonably easy to manage, but I find it more important that this design really closes up the spaces so no hooves get caught. We do not have shod horses, so there is also no worry there with shoes getting getting caught. Finally, there is minimal waste!! Yay! No more hay piles on the ground wasted because all of a sudden horses decide they don’t like to eat what’s on ground level. You know when you buy a product and it exceeds your expectations? That was this moment for me. I’m totally excited for these and am impressed with the quality, price, and function!
Love these slow feeder nets. Much improved since the first ones I bought several years ago. My horses don’t destroy these bags like they did all the other nets I tried.
