Returns Before 30 Days After Package Arrival
Our return period lasts for thirty days after your package arrives. During this time, you may return any non-defective, unused item with tags to us for a refund. It is the buyer's responsibility to pay return shipping in the case of issues like wanting a different color/size, changing your mind about the order, ordering the wrong product, etc. We will not pay return shipping for cases such as this. All returns will have a 20% re-stocking fee.
Returns on Wrong Items/Defected Products
In the case of an issue with your order, such as receiving the wrong color/size/type of item, we will pay return shipping at our discretion, as well as the cost of shipping to send you the correct item if an exchange is desired.
Returns After 30 Days After Package Arrival
Saddle returns and most other returns are not allowed after the thirty day period has passed. At our discretion, we may allow select returns or exchanges after this period but they will include a 20% re-stocking fee at minimum. We will not pay to ship after the fourteenth day- all shipping will be the buyer’s responsibility.
If you would like to exchange a product you ordered for another color, size, or style, you may do so at your own cost by paying the shipping to return the unused item you wish to exchange. Once we have received your exchanged item and verified that it has not been used, we will send out your exchange item, with the buyer being responsible for the shipping costs.
Saddle Return Policy
All of our saddles are eligible to be returned within thirty days of receiving your item, with a 20% re-stocking fee deducted. Used saddles will not be accepted. If your saddle is found to be used upon return (things like horsehair on the underside, the saddle being dirty, etc.), your return will not be accepted. Your options then will either be to pay to have the saddle returned to you, to pick the saddle up at our warehouse, or forfeit the return of the saddle and your refund.

Derby Dog Coat Returns/Exchanges
All Derby Originals brand dog coats are eligible for free 2-3 day* shipping and free returns and exchanges (1 per customer).
All exchanges must be requested within 72 hours of the package being received in order to be eligible for this program, and the items must be in new sellable condition with original tags and packaging to qualify.
If there is a price difference between exchange products, the customer is responsible for covering this cost before the exchange item is to be shipped out.
Our return policy for these dog coats is the same as our standard return policy. Please read our return policy here before ordering. When you place an order, you are agreeing to abide by our stated return policy. Returns must be started within 30 days of the coat being received.
Eligible orders must consist only of Derby Originals brand dog coats and no other items. Free shipping eligibility is not available when combined with other items.

Royal International, LLC. proudly offers One Year Limited Manufacturers Warranties and Two Year Limited Manufacturers Warranties on select products from the following brands: Derby Originals, Tahoe Tack, Paris Tack, and CuteNFuzzy.
Warranty Eligibility and Registration
Our warranty information is given on individual product cards. We recommend that buyers register their products online so that important information like the product purchase date and the lot number of that product is entered and recorded into our system. The buyer should, if possible, also save the warranty card that came with their product. Doing so will expedite the warranty claims progress.
Product warranties are voided if the product is purchased secondhand or transferred from the original registered owner. A dated proof of purchase must be present at the time a warranty claim is submitted. The warranty only covers the main body of the product and does not cover any replaceable straps, snaps, velcro closures, or other accessories which may be purchased separately. Warranties are only valid for the specified duration, with a start date set as the date of purchase.
In order to register your product online, all you have to do is go to derbyoriginals.com and click the banner on the top of the page that says “Warranty Registration”. There you will be directed to fill out a form with your product and purchase information. Completing this process will greatly speed up the warranty return/replacement process later on, should you need to, so we encourage all buyers to take this extra step.
What our Warranties Cover
Our limited warranties on our products are offered only towards manufacturing defects of the product. Any and all damage to products that are caused by abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents are not covered. Replaceable parts such as hardware, straps, snaps, and velcro closures are not eligible for warranty coverage and instead, replacement parts can be purchased through us.
We are unable to offer full warranty coverage on most of our products due to the nature of their use: products designed for use with horses and other livestock animals are often at a very high risk of damage by the animal. Minor damage* is to be expected in most cases due to the nature of horses rubbing blankets on fences, chewing on and pawing at hay bags, etc. We will look at each warranty case individually and decide what the best course of action is on a case by case basis.
How to Initiate the Warranty Coverage Process
To claim a replacement on a defective product that is under warranty, you must follow the steps below:
You must call us at (330)494-4066 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and inform us of the warranty defect, and if possible include information such as the vendor you purchased the item from, proof of purchase, your warranty registration information (if you registered the product), and include a description of the damage/defect the item has, or send us photos.
If you are a local customer, you may call us and arrange to bring the defective item into our headquarters to be examined by one of our Tack Experts. Our Tack Experts will examine the item thoroughly and determine whether the item does have manufacturing defects/quality issues, or if the damage is due to an accident, abuse, or normal wear and tear. If the product has minor damage* and is usable with repair, then up to a $20.00 gift certificate will be awarded to the customer to cover the costs of repairing the item, and the warranty will then be voided for the duration of the warranty period on said item.
If our Tack Experts determine that the item in question is not covered by warranty damage, they have the right to refuse repair or replacement coverage. If it is determined that the item is covered by our warranty, then a replacement, or suitable repair will be approved.
Minor damage is defined as repairable damage such as loose stitching, minor rips, tears, or holes, broken replaceable hardware, etc.
If the customer is unable to bring the item in question to our business, then photos of the item in question can be emailed to email@example.com. Within two business days, one of our tack experts will check these photos, and at their discretion offer up to a $20.00 gift certificate for minor repair, allow for a replacement (either fully covered by us, or partially covered by us), or deny the warranty claim.
By registering your item for a warranty, you agree that all legal disputes are to be filed in the Massillon Court, Ohio only.
Proportional Warranty Values
In the case of hay-holding products such as hay bags, hay nets, or hay bale bags, they are often seen as toys by horses once they are empty, and are chewed on, pawed at, or otherwise damaged. Because of this, they can be worn down very fast or damaged and so although they are warrantied items, they are warrantied at a proportional value. *In order to combat warranty fraud, all warranty claims submitted within three days of the end of the warranty period, will be scrutinized very closely. All warranties submitted during that period will only have a 5% proportional value.
If the item in question is found to be damaged by abuse, an accident, or any other non-covered reason, the customer may pick the item up, pay to have it shipped back to them, or have us destroy the item. All replacement items will be shipped out at the customer’s expense, and the shipping costs must be paid before the item will be sent out. If a customer gives us a product to be repaired, the item will be repaired, and then shipped back to the customer at their expense. All warranty items may be picked up for free by the customer at our warehouse location of they prefer. Our pick-up/drop-off details are listed below.
