Within 3 months of purchase the clasp broke from the leash. It was used on a German Shepard that weighs appox 80 lbs. May be better suited for smaller dogs. We repaired the clasp and are still using the actual leash as the extra handle grip is beneficial and the padding on the handle of the leash is nice.

This is the BEST leash for our young Labrador Retriever who is still learning how to walk on a leash. Both handles are padded, which is great on your hands when your dog is pulling. The short handle is a nice feature to keep your dog close and teaching the heel command. I've bought this item several times, only because we misplace them, they hold up very well.
