Got it 50% right. One strap is good, the other has a snap that does not work.
One strap has a functional snap, the other does not. It's impossible to open and when you finally get it open it stays stuck open. If I had picked these up in a tack store I would have noticed.

Replacement straps
Replaced all the straps on the horse blankets, this set of 2 was decently priced. Will see how durable they are once the brief Texas winter arrives.
