Derby Originals Horse Tough 600D Ripstop Waterproof Winter Dog Coat 150g Medium Weight

I shopped and shopped and shopped to find the perfect, preferably barn sheet style winter dog coat for my girl as the boys hand me downs did not cut it. The fit is perfect. She measured for an extra large, but based previous “try ons” I ordered the large; the fit is perfect. She was very patient as I adjusted the straps. I would definitely purchase again!

I really like the derby originals horse blanket style dog jacket. I had my last one for over a decade and a half and used it with multiple dogs. I did have to replace the Velcro, but the new jackets have a Velcro lock that def improves the design. My only complaint is that I feel a lot of dogs including mine fall between 17.5 in and 22.5 in sizes so you end up with a jacket slightly too large or too small. That is the case with my 65 lb bully mix, but I still love the baggy fit. I’d rather her have a little extra than not enough.

We have four of these dog coats already on all of our collies and shelties and love them, but we just adopted a year old collie puppy and she needed a coat to match everybody else’s. Since Molly is the only girl it just had to be pink. Out here in NE Iowa it gets pretty cold and very windy, and all the kids coats keep them warm enough to potty and play a little even when the weather is sub zero.

Fits my dog very well! This is my second time purchasing this jacket. The first one lasted us over 4 years.

Breed : Weimaraner Job : ALS Service Dog . Love the brilliant color selection. Noted the chest adjuster improvements. Tough fabric and binding. My only issue is that the Velcro chest adjustment needs a pull tab to make it easier for me to attach and remove. This would be awesome for me with my ADA issues.
