Return Policy :

We offer a 30 day return policy for eligible products purchased on our website. All returned products must be unused and in new condition, with tags attached, and must be returned with paper inserts & all the original bags & packaging material

 Any merchandise returned without its original packing or tags will be subject to a 20% restocking fee or will receive only a store credit at our discretion.

Any merchandise returned and found to be used upon return will be destroyed and no refund or exchange will be issued.

All authorized returned merchandise must be received by us within fourteen (14) business days of the initial contact via email.

Prior to returning any product the buyer must obtain a return authorization via email through our Return Request Form below. 



         Return Policy on Horse Blankets / Sheets

         No returns/exchanges on any used Horse Clothing. 

  • Due to hygiene & sanitation reasons, we do not accept returns on any used horse clothing that has been worn by the horse. It is important that horse blankets & body sheets are tried on for a good fit with a sheet underneath it so as to maintain cleanliness. In the event the wrong size has been ordered & the horse clothing does not fit as desired, kindly remove it immediately & request a return via email within 3 days of package delivery at the latest. Returns will not be authorized beyond this time in any case. Refunds will be issued within 2-4 days of returns after the blanket has been delivered to us & inspected by our returns department. The buyer will be notified of the refund via email if an email has been provided.

  • If you need to exchange a blanket for another size, you do not have to wait for the refund. You may simply reorder your blanket in the size desired.

  • Horse blankets & sheets are not guaranteed against ripping & tearing due to the fact that some horses are known to be extremely rough on their blankets, while other horses could get years of use out of their blanket. Most tears & rips may be repaired easily at your local repair shop. To help prevent injury to the horse, blanket straps and hardware will break at a certain stress point and are therefore not guaranteed against breakage.

  • Horse clothing that has made contact with a horse is a health hazard and sanitation risk to other customers as well as our employees. All items must be completely new and unused. Any horse clothing that has been used, even if for a brief moment cannot be returned. Upon return all horse clothing is inspected thoroughly and if any evidence of wear is found, the blanket may be destroyed with no refund or credit. This includes but may not be limited to blankets, sheets, fly masks, grooming items, and horse coolers.  

      Horse clothing is therefore not returnable once used. Derby Originals is not responsible for any horse clothing that is torn and destroyed              once it has been out of the bag & worn by the horse. Any returned used horse clothing will be destroyed & no refund will be issued.

Grooming Items

Horse grooming items cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened. Any grooming item that have been used are a health and sanitation risk for our customers and our employees and therefore non-returnable.

Hay bags and Hay Nets:

Hay bags, hay nets, and feed bags offer no warranty unless specifically stated. Any damaged or destroyed hay bags, feed bags, or hay nets will not be replaced or refunded. Some horses can use the same hay bag for years while others are too rough on them. Some horses may also need trained on how to eat from hay bags. Any hay bag that has had contact with hay, grain, or a horse cannot be returned. Any hay bag, hay net, or feed bag that is found to be used will be destroyed and no refund, store credit, or exchange will be issued.

Free Shipping

All items purchased with free shipping will be shipped the most economical method. Delivery date with free shipping order is not guaranteed. Any item purchased with free shipping that is returned will be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee & in case of an exchange the buyer is responsible for exchange shipping charges. Free shipping will not be provided for any exchanges.  Shipping charges are not refundable once the items have been shipped and for all refused packages.

Shipping Policy

Orders placed online at are shipped Monday through Friday. We are closed for business on the weekends. offers Standard Ground, 2nd Day, and Next Day shipping service for all local domestic orders. We also offer Express International shipping in most countries worldwide. Custom Duties and taxes are the buyers responsibility and charged by the carrier. Upon delivery of the package, the shipping company will notify you about these charges. Derby Originals is not responsible for any Custom Duties and taxes. It is based on the regulations of each country. Total shipping charges are automatically calculated at the time of checkout.

If the Custom Duties are not paid by the customer, we hold the right to charge them.

You can rely on our fast and friendly shipping department! Most orders received before 1:00 pm EST Monday through Friday may be shipped that day. Orders received after 1:00 pm will be shipped the following business day.

Shipping rates are applied according to the destination and the size and weight of the package. 

APO & FPO orders must be shipped by US Mail with all shipping charges paid by the customer. The time in-transit of Fed Ex Ground is based on your delivery address. Please note, Holidays are not included as a delivery day.

Upon receipt of your package, please inspect for any short orders or damages caused in transit. If damage should occur, save all evidence for inspection by the carrier. All damages and shortages must be reported within forty-eight (48) hours after receipt of package. Please contact us by email at

International Shipping

Canada -We ship packages to Canada via USPS and the buyer will be solely  responsible for all shipping charges plus any  Custom Duty or Taxes due once the parcel has cleared customs.
